Rothesay, NB – My story began in 1984 , a young mom of 4 children under age 9; had a consult for my back pain one saturday am at the local hospital..diagnosed with bulging disk and surgery was necessary right away; my concern was 4 children and their care since my husband worked; I was assured I’d be home by Friday(surgery was on Tuesday) of same week…well, since this story is 250 words I’ll make this short..surgery went terribly wrong..I ended up not being able to walk and had to learn all over again..it was to hell and back.. residual chronic pain for the next 25 years in another part of my body..it ruined my life..pills and more pills.. I checked on line to collect information on a procedure that was recommended to me and was so happy I did since I was heading down another path that could have been worse than the back surgery and in another province it had to be performed…had it not been for information technology I can’t imagine where I’d be today..I am on another medication that was a result of emergency surgery of another nature and not related and it is helping me sleep better considering I was getting 3-4 hours a night, a zombie the next day for years and years.. thanks again to advanced information that led me to decline the procedure that could have  been the last straw….
