Montréal, QC – I’d like to share my experience with how IT has helped me to take charge of my precious children’s health. They were still very young when I began using IT to schedule their medical appointments. It does save me a lot of time and avoids long delays waiting for an answer on the phone and appointment scheduling mistakes when visiting our family doctor. Sometimes, the receptionist has to take care of the patients that are on premises and can’t answer the phone. With digital health, everything goes smoothly, appointment scheduling is easy, appointments are on time, my calls are quickly answered to and acknowledged, and I receive emails for follow-ups etc. I can respond to my children’s health problems in a very easy way for emergencies as well as for regular appointments. This technology really has made our lives easier. It bodes well for future health care efficiency.
